Features of the Teddy Footmuff
This wool footmuff combines warmth, comfort, and ease of use in one product. The soft teddy finish gives it a luxurious look and a wonderfully soft feel during every walk.
Wool is known for its unique ability to retain heat without making your child sweat. The wool fibers act as a natural thermostat and constantly adapt to the ambient temperature. This keeps your child comfortable during cold winter days, crisp autumn mornings, and cool spring days.
In addition, wool fibers can absorb moisture without feeling wet or clammy. This creates a pleasant climate in which your child stays dry and comfortable.
Why choose a wool footmuff?
- Naturally warm and comfortable
- Breathable and temperature-regulating
- Hypoallergenic and skin-friendly
- Naturally antibacterial
- Naturally neutralizes odors
- Suitable for everyday use
- Easy to attach thanks to harness openings
- Ideal for prams, strollers, and carrycots
Care
Wool naturally has self-cleaning properties and requires little maintenance.
For an optimal lifespan, we recommend:
- Air outdoors regularly
- Hand wash at a maximum of 30°C
- Use a mild wool detergent
- Do not bleach
- Do not spin-dry
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron
- Dry flat
- Dry cleaning possible
Care tip
Wool generally does not need to be washed often. Simply airing the footmuff outside is often enough to make it smell fresh again.
Why wool is so special
Wool is naturally dirt-repellent, breathable, and self-cleaning. Odors often disappear on their own by airing the product. This keeps the footmuff fresh and beautiful for longer without intensive maintenance.

100% Wool Pile
Our wool consists of a pile of 100% wool fibers. The natural wool gives it a soft, warm, authentic look.
We work with soft, warm wool in three different types. Felted, also known as fulled wool, is a soft, compact, natural wool fabric that feels wonderfully warm. Thumbled has a full, woolly, cuddly-soft texture. Our Teddy wool is also soft and woolly, but has more flexibility and stretch, making the fabric feel extra flexible and comfortable.
Made in Europe
At Woolskins, we believe in the power of pure, natural materials. That’s why we work exclusively with high-quality European wool, and all our products are made entirely in Europe.
Our sheepskins also come from European sheep and are tanned within the European Union. This is done in accordance with current European laws and environmental regulations, which set strict requirements for quality, safety, and sustainability.
This is how we combine craftsmanship, short supply chains, and responsible production.
OEKO-TEX® & ECO-5
OEKO-TEX® Our products meet the strictly controlled OEKO-TEX® quality standards. This guarantees that the textiles and materials used have been thoroughly tested for harmful substances, chemicals, and allergens, ensuring safe, skin-friendly products for the whole family.
ECO 5 Our products meet the ECO 5 quality standard, which ensures that the materials are produced through an environmentally friendly and responsible supply chain. This certification strictly assesses environmental management, sustainable sourcing of raw materials, energy conservation, and fair, safe working conditions throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Mulesing-free wool from Europe
The origin of wool makes a difference. That’s why at Woolskins, we consciously choose wool and sheepskins of European origin. So when choosing a wool product, always take a moment to check where it comes from.
European wool is free from mulesing, because the parasite that this procedure is used to address in other parts of the world is not found here.
ECO 5 Our products meet the ECO 5 quality standard, which ensures that the materials are produced through an environmentally friendly and responsible supply chain. This certification rigorously assesses environmental management, sustainable sourcing of raw materials, energy conservation, and fair, safe working conditions throughout the manufacturing process.
