Babies who sleep on their stomachs during their first 12 months should not sleep on anything soft for safety reasons. This can be dangerous. We therefore recommend using the Woolskins sheepskin responsibly. Always pay close attention when your baby is lying or sleeping on their stomach and make sure your baby remains supervised.

Icelandic Natural Sheepskin Features
The Icelandic Natural Baby-Care Sheepskin is made from carefully selected Icelandic sheepskins. Icelandic sheep are naturally known for their long wool. For this special Baby-Care version, the fleece is clipped short, allowing the soft and insulating underwool to fully come into its own.
The greatest advantage of this sheepskin is its exceptionally supple leather side. As a result, the sheepskin easily moulds to the surface beneath it and feels almost like a soft woollen blanket. This makes the Icelandic Natural especially suitable for use in the pram, playpen or on the go.
The natural wool fibres regulate moisture and temperature effectively. This keeps your little one dry, comfortable and relaxed in every season.

Our wool consists of a pile of 100% wool fibers. The natural wool gives it a soft, warm, authentic look.
We work with soft, warm wool in three different types. Felted, also known as fulled wool, is a soft, compact, natural wool fabric that feels wonderfully warm. Thumbled has a full, woolly, cuddly-soft texture. Our Teddy wool is also soft and woolly, but has more flexibility and stretch, making the fabric feel extra flexible and comfortable.
